While we typically home school year round, our extended trip out West through me off track. It was good though to have a break and prepare for a new year of learning.
As many of you know, we are expecting again. I had a little scare on Saturday but it turned out to be nothing serious, and I got the bonus of being able to see the little one on ultrasound including the baby's heart beat (116 bpm)! It never ceases to amaze me to see new life, so new new life. It brings the biggest smile to my face to think of a new little one in our family. Each child is so unique and so special and brings so much joy to our family! God is so good to us!
With this pregnancy comes challenges. I get very nauseated and have huge food aversions from about week 5 until week 14. These are 9 very very very very long weeks. And I have 7 1/2 more of them to go. I keep trying to think of ways to pass the time. Ginny, maybe a trip to Virginia? Mom Walsman, maybe a trip to Florida? Okay, I know neither of you want me sick and tired at your house. Okay. Well, I'm going to keep thinking and hopefully come up with some really cool day trips and maybe a few over night trips.
I would appreciate your prayers for this little one and for our family.
