China Town

We will conclude our study of Asia this month. We studied China longer than anywhere and my mother-in-law gave me the idea of going to China Town. It was really fun other than my debit card getting stolen by the ATM machine. The boys picked out some bamboo plants at one of the stores and the man told me he only took cash and directed me to the ATM machine. It proceeded to keep my card and not give me the cash. So the man ended up saying "It's okay. Take the plants and you can go to my partner's store in Asian Square off of Buford Hwy and you can pay for them there." I asked my boys if I went to Target and got to the check out lane and told the lady, "Oops, I don't have any money", would she say, that's okay you can come back and pay tomorrow? Nope! So we had a neat experience.

Thanks for sharing!

Let me know of any books you liked! I remember you mentioned The Empty Pot. Any other treasures?
