(This isn't an official "wonder" of Georgia, but it nearly made the list and since we were nearby when we visited Okefenokee Swamp, we added it to our list.  It should have been a wonder.  This was one of our favorites!)

Last Christmas we gave our children the gift of seeing the "Seven Wonders of Georgia".  We had already been to two of them, but had five more to visit.  Giving more toys to children who already have plenty, and that are destined to be broken, is losing it's appeal.  Not to mention, my growing awareness of the human rights crisis in the production of many of these foreign made products....so we thought site seeing would provide us all with lots of good memories.  And boy did it.  This year I think we'll collect Georgia waterfalls, or maybe rivers, no---lighthouses or barrier islands.....  oh, so hard to decide!
