Benjamin found three Black Swallowtail Caterpillars on our over grown parsley plant---which we've never eaten. But I'm glad we planted it just to be a host for these beautiful caterpillars We've brought them in and put them in an aquarium where we plan to let them overwinter in the garage. Hopefully we will get to see them come out as beautiful butterflies in the Spring!
Andrew ran inside and said, "Look mom! A bee!" I said, "Andrew how did you get it!?" He actually scooped it up from the golden rod in the front yard. I just about fainted! He picked up a bumble bee!
