Our new dog...

Welcome to our home Ginger!

Well, I wrote the whole story of why we got "Ginger" the other night and then the computer wouldn't upload the photos and it was really frustrating. I don't feel like regurgitating it all right now. Maybe because I feel so overwhelmed and like I really want to give her back! I feel bad about that, but her hair is everywhere, she howls and wakes us up at night, she has pooped and peed on the floor, and what do we do when she needs to be walked and it is raining?

Benjamin is just starting to sleep through the night the past two nights and she has woken me up each night. Last night she woke me and Benjamin up.

I think maybe it is just too much for me right now.

We hadn't intended to get a dog nor had we been talking or even thinking about it. We were on our way to the yellow river game ranch and Steve talked the kids into going to the humane society instead, to "pet puppies". Not a good idea.

We thought it would be good for Isaac, so she is Isaac and Steve's dog.

Lots of other things going on recently as well but no time to post. Maybe I can now. The boy's are watching Winnie the Pooh.

You are a better woman than I! We always say that when our dog is gone, we are done with dogs. Since we moved to CO we have a split rail fence, and no freedom to leave our dog in the backyard, can't leave her alone in the house because she'll get on the furniture & other trouble. We had to resort to kenneling her. The freedom of going away for a weekend are done & over until the dog is gone. I love looking @ the dogs, and fall in love with them just the same...but I always count on Duane to say no. :)
I'll pray for you!!!!
